The Law of Compensation is one of the 12 universal laws that govern our universe. This principle governs our lives, whether we're aware of it or not. It states that we will be compensated in proportion to the amount of effort we put in, and the value we provide to others.

The law of compensation is a powerful concept that reflects the fundamental principle of cause and effect in the universe. It suggests that every action you take, whether positive or negative, will have a corresponding consequence that will ultimately determine your outcomes in life. In other words, you reap what you sow. The results you see in your life are directly proportional to the effort you put in. Think of it as karma.

This principle applies to all aspects of life, from personal relationships to business ventures. It serves as a reminder that you have the power to shape your own destiny through your actions and decisions. Understanding and harnessing the power of the law of compensation can help you achieve your goals, attain success, and live a more fulfilling life.

The Law of Compensation is a cosmic law, just like the Law of Gravity, and it operates with mathematical exactitude. What you give, you get, and what you reap, you sow. The compensation you receive is always in direct proportion to the service you provide.

    Bob Proctor

What Are The 12 Universal Laws?

The 12 universal laws are a set of spiritual principles that govern our universe and everything in it. The 12 laws go beyond the physical laws of the universe. They pertain to the nature of consciousness, energy, and reality. I've written other posts on a few of the Universal laws. You can find those by clicking on the links below.

    1. The Law of Oneness: Everything in the universe is connected and part of a single, unified whole.
    2. The Law of Vibration: Everything in the universe is in a constant state of vibration, including thoughts, feelings, and matter.
    3. The Law of Action: In order to manifest our desires, we must take action towards them.
    4. The Law of Correspondence: Your outer world is a reflection of your inner world, and vice versa.
    5. The Law of Cause and Effect: Every action has a corresponding reaction, and every cause has an effect. You may also wish to explore The 12 Laws Of Karma.
    6. The Law of Compensation: We will be compensated in proportion to the amount of effort we put in and the value we provide to others.
    7. The Law of Attraction: We attract what we focus on and vibrate with, whether positive or negative. You may also with to explore the very similar Law Of Assumption.
    8. The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy: We have the power to transform negative energy into positive energy.
    9. The Law of Relativity: Everything in the universe is relative and exists in comparison to something else.
    10. The Law of Polarity: Everything in the universe has two polar opposite aspects, and we can choose which aspect we focus on.
    11. The Law of Rhythm: Everything in the universe operates in cycles and rhythms, such as the seasons, tides, and phases of the moon. By understanding and aligning with these rhythms, we can create more harmony and balance in our lives.
    12. The Law of Gender: Everything in the universe has masculine and feminine energies. These energies work together to create balance and harmony. This law is not limited to gender in the traditional sense, but instead refers to the polarity and interplay of opposing energies in all things.

When we’re willing to see the innocence in another person even when he or she has behaved without love toward us, we activate the Law of Divine Compensation.

What Is The Law Of Compensation?

The law of compensation operates like a mathematical equation, where the effort and contributions we make determine the return we receive in exact proportion, much like how each number in a multiplication table has a fixed and exact value.

Ralph Waldo Emerson aptly sums up this principle in his essay "The Law of Compensation": "The world looks like a multiplication-table, or a mathematical equation, which, turn it how you will, balances itself. Take what figure you will, its exact value, nor more nor less, still returns to you."

Here's an example: If you consistently think positively and focus on abundance and gratitude, you'll attract positive outcomes and abundance. This is because your thoughts and beliefs shape your reality. By focusing on positive outcomes, you create a vibration that attracts similar positive energy!

On the other hand, if you have a negative mindset, and treat people poorly or hold onto grudges, you'll attract negative outcomes and experiences. This is because negative thoughts and behaviors create a negative vibration that attracts similar negative energy, leading to a cycle of negative experiences.

In essence, the law of compensation operates on both an external and internal level, where the energy and effort we put out into the world, as well as our thoughts and beliefs, determine the compensation we receive.

A belief is just a story you keep telling yourself.

    Tony Robbins

    Your Vibe Defines You

Think of the law of compensation like a radio signal that attracts a particular frequency. Just like a radio signal, the energy and effort you put out into the world creates a vibration that attracts similar energy and experiences. This vibration is your personal signal, which attracts similar frequencies and experiences.

For example, if you emit a positive, vibration, you're going to attract positive experiences. Similarly, if you emit a negative and fearful vibration, you're going to attract negative and fearful experiences. This is because your vibration acts like a magnet that attracts similar energy and experiences.

Just like how you can tune a radio to a particular station, you can also tune your personal vibration or frequency to attract the experiences you desire. By focusing on positive thoughts and beliefs, cultivating gratitude, and putting in the effort to achieve our goals, you can align with the law of compensation and attract positive outcomes and abundance into your life, much like tuning a radio to a desired station.

Cause and effect, means and ends, seed and fruit, cannot be severed; for the effect already blooms in the cause, the end preexists in the means, the fruit in the seed.

Nothing binds you except your thoughts. Nothing limits you except your fears. And nothing controls you excepts your beliefs. Nothing.

Making The Law Of Compensation Work For You

The magic is in changing your perspective, and hence, your attitude! Here's a few ways you can put the law of compensation to work in your life to manifest everything you desire:

    • Look for opportunities to serve others and add value to their lives or businesses.
    • Cultivate an attitude of gratitude and focus on abundance rather than lack.
    • Practice acts of kindness and service without expecting anything in return. Giving freely always leads to receiving more in the long run.
    • Release negative thoughts and emotions through meditation, journaling, or therapy to make room for positive energy and abundance.
    • Trust in the universe or a higher power to provide for your needs and guide you towards your highest good.
    • Surround yourself with positive and supportive people who share your values and aspirations. Think soul family!
    • Stay positive and maintain a growth mindset, even in the face of challenges or setbacks.
    • Take calculated risks and be willing to step outside your comfort zone to pursue new opportunities.
    • Be patient and persistent, and trust that your efforts will eventually be rewarded with abundance and success.
    • Remember that the law of compensation is not just about material gain, but also about receiving love, joy, and fulfillment in all areas of your life.
