Human beings are born into many different collectives or"tribes." Family, nationality, religion and community are all tribes that we're born into. Sometimes people in these "groups of origin" may also be members of our soul tribe; sometimes they're not.
Throughout our lives, as we change and grow, we'll become members of a vast array of tribes whose interests and values align with our own. We might join sport's teams, book clubs, fitness groups etc. where, for a period of time, we'll become part of a collective that share a common interest.
But, your soul tribe is different. It's a unique group of people who you'll feel an instant familiarity with. That's because your soul family share your higher self's mission. They're integral to your shadow work and helping you achieve your spiritual goals.
What Is A Soul Tribe?
Your soul tribe is comprised of people you've spent many lifetimes with.
Your higher self, which is consciousness itself, will reincarnate as many spiritual entities called souls. Your soul will incarnate many times over many centuries, each time residing in a different body to learn different lessons.
Each time your soul incarnates, it makes an agreement (or contract) to encounter other souls for the purpose of learning and evolving; some of these people will be from your soul family.
Your soul tribe are essentially members of the same higher self who have incarnated as another soul. Because you share a higher self, you are members of the same soul family. When you meet them, they'll teach you important lessons that are important in clearing your karma and evolving.
If the family you chose before your birth no longer supports your path towards fulfilling your true destiny, it is never too late to find a new tribe.

One important concept to understand is that each soul we share many lives with, may switch physical roles. For instance, your mother in this life might be your uncle in the next life; or your son, or your sister. Souls switch roles throughout their incarnations for the purpose of learning the lesson that particular role might aid them in learning.
I've made a diagram, which you'll see above. I hope that it helps clarify this rather confusing concept for those who are unfamiliar. You may also hear the higher self referred to as the "over soul " in this context.
Because your soul family is from the same higher self (or over soul) they intuitively "get you." There's an instant familiarity and companionship. In essence, they resonate with you energetically.
Soul tribe relationships are anything but shallow. There's a deep resonance at a soul level that you intuitively understand is different and special. They're your spiritual family here on Earth, just as your birth family is your physical family.
Your soul family may include members of your family of origin, or they may be people you meet along the way. Sometimes one soul will incarnate to heal a trauma in your ancestral line, like a pattern of abuse, family secrets, addiction or resentments. However you meet them, these relationships serve as mirrors to reflect the things within you that need healing.
Soul family members may or may not spend your life journey with you. Some of them only come into your life for a brief chapter; their presence changes you and helps you evolve. Some are there for your entire journey, and they'll remain with you through every life.
How precious it is to find someone who brings with them a Feeling of home.

Your Soul Family are those that are tuned in to your frequency. You sense a strong connection beyond blood or race; you’re connected by energy and vibration. Through quantum communication, they intuitively answer your silent call and show up bringing unconditional love and support at the perfect times. You share an unspoken level of understanding … they just get you and what you’re about. For those people, be thankful … they are your reminders from the Universe that on the deepest level of our existence we are one.
