Air Fryer pasta chips were made famous by a Tik Tok recipe that has everyone Googling how to make these crispy snacks. And, with good reason! Not only is this recipe a great way to use up leftover pasta, it's a super tasty snack that literally everyone loves.

- Pasta: I used bow tie pasta, but any kind of pasta will do. I have also made this recipe with cavatelli, fusilli and rigatoni pasta.
- Nutritional Yeast: Nutritional yeast is what we'll be using to replace the traditional Parmesan cheese used in this recipe. It adds a nice cheesy taste that's perfect for these air fryer pasta chips.
- Olive Oil: Use a quality extra virgin olive oil for the best flavor.
- Italian Seasoning: Italian seasoning is usually a combination of basil, thyme, oregano, rosemary and sage. It's a seasoning that pairs will with a marinara dipping sauce.
- Garlic Powder: I love fresh garlic, but at high temperatures it burns and tastes bitter. Garlic powder is the answer here!
๐จโ๐ณHow To Make Air Fryer Pasta Chips
- Bring a large pan of water to a boil. Add a dash of salt and the bow tie (farfalle) pasta. Cook for one minute less than recommended on the packet. You want the pasta to be al dente, as it will finish cooking in the air fryer.
- Drain the pasta and transfer it to a large mixing bowl. Add the olive oil, nutritional yeast and spices. Mix until the pasta is evenly coated in oil and spices.
- Spray the insert to your air fryer with cooking spray. Spread the pasta out in an even layer. Do not overcrowd the basket. Air fry for 6 minutes at 400ยฐ F (200ยฐ C). Shake your air fryer basket half way through the cooking time to turn your air fryer pasta chips over.
- Serve your pasta chips with San Marzano tomato sauce.

- Doritos Flavor: 1 teaspoon nutritional yeast, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, ยฝ teaspoon onion powder, ยฝ teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, ยผ teaspoon salt.

These chips are best served with a dip. Here's a few of my favorite suggestions:
- Vegan Garlic Aoili: This sauce would be great with the Italian version of air fryer pasta chips o that see on the recipe card below. It would also be a great match for Old Bay chips.
- Chipotle Mayo: Chipotle mayo would be a perfect match for Dorito flavored air fryer pasta chips.
- Vegan Cashew Cheese Sauce: A nice creamy vegan queso would be perfect with either Dorito or Cajun flavored chips.
- Sriracha Mayo or Sriracha Aioli would make a great dip for Chinese salt and pepper air fryer pasta chips.
- BBQ Sauce: BBQ sauce would suit Cajun flavor chips.
