Ingredients

  • 8 ounces bowtie pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Bring a large pan of water to a boil. Add a dash of salt and the bow tie pasta and cook for one minute less than recommended on the packet. You want the pasta to be al dente, as it will finish cooking in the air fryer.
  • Drain the pasta and transfer it to a arge mixing bowl. Add the olive oil, nutritional yeast and spices. Mix until the pasta is evenly coated in oil and spices.
  • Spray the insert to your air fryer with cooking spray. Spread the pasta out in an even layer. Do not overcrowd the basket. Air fry for 6 minutes at 400° F (200° C). Shake the air fryer half way through the cooking time.
  • Serve the pasta with San Marzano tomato sauce.

Notes

  1. Air fryer pasta chips are best eaten fresh out of the air fryer, but if you have leftovers, store them in a sealable bag or airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
