How To Make Sticky Rice In A Rice Cooker
Using a steamer is the traditional way to make sticky rice. However, using a steamer involves soaking the rice for long periods of time (6-24 hours), and cooking it in a steamer lined with parchment paper for about 40 minutes.
A quicker, and much simpler way to cook sticky rice is to simply cook it in your rice cooker. It's easy, and most rice cookers even have a preset function, so you can set it to cook and stay warm for when you need it. The bowls of rice cookers wipe clean quite easily, so there's barely any clean up.
