10 Lidl Snacks My Kids And I Can't Get Enough Of

There’s something oddly satisfying about wandering the snack aisle at Lidl - you never quite know what hidden gems you’ll find. Between the sweet treats, salty bites, and those limited-edition goodies that vanish in a flash, it’s become a bit of a family ritual in our house. Some snacks are such favourites that they barely make it home before being opened.

All opinions here are based on personal taste and experience. Product availability and ingredients can vary by store and region, so always check labels if you have allergies or dietary preferences.

    1. Snaktastic Cheese & Onion Multipack

Classic flavour meets unbeatable convenience in these brilliant little bags. The tangy cheese perfectly balances with the savoury onion notes, creating that nostalgic taste we all grew up loving.

Having them pre-portioned makes school lunches a breeze, and my children never complain about finding these in their bags. Honestly, I've been known to sneak one for myself during afternoon tea breaks because they're just that moreish and satisfying.

    2. Alesto Roasted Cashew Nuts & Peanuts

When hunger strikes between meals, this protein-packed combination saves the day every single time. The roasted flavour brings out the natural sweetness of cashews whilst the peanuts add that earthy depth.

My eldest daughter grabs a handful before football practice, and I love that they provide lasting energy between meals. They're brilliant sprinkled over salads too, adding crunch and nutrition to our family dinners throughout the week.

    3. Deluxe Lightly Sea Salted Potato Crisps

Sometimes simplicity wins, and these elegant crisps prove that point magnificently. Just the right amount of sea salt enhances rather than overwhelms the natural potato taste.

They're thin enough to feel refined yet sturdy enough not to crumble into dust at the bottom of the packet. My son prefers these over fancier flavours because he says they taste "proper," which I think means authentically delicious in ten-year-old speak!

    4. Alesto Walnuts (Raw)

These raw walnuts are a simple, wholesome snack that fits easily into everyday eating. They have a naturally rich, earthy flavour with a slightly bitter edge that walnut lovers appreciate. Walnuts are known for being a good plant-based source of omega-3 fats, making them a smart choice for adding variety to your diet.

I like tossing them into porridge or salads for a satisfying crunch that feels both hearty and healthy.

    5. Deluxe Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper Hand-Cooked Crisps

Peppery warmth meets salty goodness in these sophisticated crisps that feel rather grown-up. Each bite delivers a gentle kick from the cracked black pepper that keeps things interesting.

Surprisingly, my children enjoy the subtle spice, which has expanded their flavour preferences nicely. Thicker than standard crisps, they hold up brilliantly with dips, making them ideal for family gatherings or when friends pop round unexpectedly on weekends.

    6. Alesto Almonds (Honey Roast)

Sweet meets nutty in this addictive combination that walks the perfect line between treat and healthy snack. The honey coating adds just enough sweetness without being cloying or artificial-tasting.

Crunchy and satisfying, these almonds make excellent pre-sports fuel for my active children. I've also discovered they're wonderful crushed over yoghurt for breakfast, adding texture and flavour that transforms ordinary mornings into something rather special and indulgent.

    7. Snaktastic Toffee Popcorn

This toffee popcorn is a big hit in our house - crunchy, buttery, and just the right amount of sweet. It’s the kind of snack that instantly makes movie night feel special.

You can smell that caramel coating the moment you open the bag, and once you start eating, it’s hard to stop. It’s a proper family favourite that tastes far more indulgent than its price tag suggests.

    8. Alesto Californian Pistachios (Roasted & Salted)

When you fancy something savoury but still wholesome, these roasted pistachios always do the trick. They’ve got that satisfying crunch and a light saltiness that keeps you reaching for more.

Cracking open the shells is half the fun - it slows everyone down just enough to enjoy the moment. They’re great for after-school snacks or when you want something to nibble on that feels a bit fancy.

    9. Alesto XXL Roasted & Salted Snack Mix

This big bag of mixed nuts is ideal for sharing, especially when everyone wants something different. It’s full of roasted peanuts, almonds, cashews, and pistachios - the perfect balance of crunchy and salty. The resealable bag makes it easy to keep fresh, although it rarely lasts long in our house.

It’s the kind of snack that disappears during movie nights or long car rides without anyone realising how much they’ve eaten.

    10. Deluxe Salted Caramel Brownie Mini Bites

These mini brownie bites are little squares of happiness - soft, chewy, and rich with a swirl of salted caramel. They’re the perfect size for a quick treat when you want something sweet but not over the top.

The combination of chocolate and caramel feels like a proper bakery indulgence without the effort. They’re always the first thing to vanish from the snack cupboard, and honestly, for good reason.
