If you’re looking for a simple, flavorful meal that’s ready in under half an hour, this creamy garlic pasta is a perfect choice. It’s rich, comforting, and easy enough for a weeknight dinner, yet satisfying enough to serve guests.
This pasta comes together in under 25 minutes because the sauce is prepared while the pasta cooks, allowing both to be ready at the same time.
This recipe is made by our team based on their own cooking experiences and experimenting with pasta-making, so feel free to adjust the flavors and quantities to suit your preferences.

For the pasta, spaghetti, linguine, or fettuccine work best, as their long strands hold the sauce beautifully. You can serve this dish with a crisp green salad, steamed vegetables, or warm garlic bread to make it a complete meal.

Ingredients
• 300 g (10.5 oz) spaghetti, linguine, or fettuccine
• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 cup heavy cream
• ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
• Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
1. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
2. Sauté the garlic: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter with the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
3. Make the sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer gently for about 3–4 minutes.
4. Add cheese and seasonings: Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Combine with pasta: Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly. If the sauce is too thick, stir in a little of the reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
6. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately with your choice of side.
