Making homemade peach juice couldn't be simpler. You don't even need a juicer! I'll show you how to make your own fresh peach juice at home with a blender, or a juicer. Guaranteed free from additives, preservatives and refined sugar.
Peel pit and stone the peaches. * see notes for instructions on how to easily peel peaches.
Add the peaches to the blender or along with the water, ice cubes, lemon juice and agave nectar. Blend until there are no lumps remaining. Depending on the strength of your blender, you may need to pour the juice through a mesh strainer to remove any extra bits.
Stir before serving.
To Make Peach Juice In A Juicer
Fill a bowl with water. Submerge the peaches in the water, gently scrubbing their skins to remove any dirt or pesticides.
Cut the peaches open and remove the pits. Add them to the juicer, catching the extracted liquid in a pitcher.
Stir in the lemon juice and agave nectar (or powdered cane sugar) and serve.
Notes
How to peel peaches:
Find a bowl big enough to accommodate your peaches and enough water to cover them. Fill it with water and some ice and set aside.
Bring a large pot of water to a hard boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer, and using a slotted spoon, lower your peaches into the water. Leave them there for approximately 30 seconds.
Using the same slotted spoon, remove your peaches from the hot water, and transfer them to the bowl of ice water. This stops the peaches from cooking.
The peel should now be soft enough to remove easily with your hands or a paring knife.
