Notes
Don't have an espresso maker? No worries, you can also use a stovetop espresso maker, sometimes called a Moka cup. They're inexpensive and easy to use. And, if you don't have a stovetop espresso maker you can brew a regular cup of coffee and add a pinch of espresso powder. If you fancy a less caffeinated drink, feel free to use coffee, however you regularly brew it. It won't have the richness and intensity you get with espresso, but it will still be delicious.
Frothing Almond Milk Without A Milk Frother: Pour your almond milk into a glass jar. Screw the lid on and shake the jar for 30 seconds. Quickly transfer the jar (without the lid) to the microwave and zap it for 30 seconds.
Add a sweetener: This isn't strictly necessary. In fact, I like almond milk coffee without sweeteners added, but be aware that almond milk is not nearly as sweet as cow's milk. So, if you're used to using cow's milk, adding a bit of sugar might be a good idea.
