British competitive eater Leah Shutkever holds this impressive (and slightly chaotic) record, managing to eat eight whole tomatoes in just sixty seconds.
Guinness World Records confirmed her achievement in June 2020, cementing her place as one of the UK’s most accomplished speed eaters.
7. Most Hot Dogs Made In One Minute
German record breaker Andre Ortolf holds the Guinness World Record for the most hot dogs made in one minute, assembling 11 fully prepared hot dogs in Augsburg in 2016.
The challenge involves much more than just speed, as each hot dog has to be properly put together with bun and sausage to count, making this a test of coordination as well as quick hands.

The title for the largest sushi roll by width belongs to chefs and creators Nick DiGiovanni and Lynn Davis, who set the record in October 2022 with a roll measuring an incredible 7 feet 1 inch in diameter.
The duo used staggering quantities of ingredients, including 2,000 pounds of rice, 500 pounds of salmon, 500 pounds of cucumbers, and thousands of sheets of nori to bring the giant maki to life.
Their colossal creation earned official recognition from Guinness World Records and quickly became a viral sensation.
9. Most Marshmallows Eaten In One Minute (No Hands)
The record for the most marshmallows eaten in one minute without using hands belongs to British competitive eater Leah Shutkever, who achieved an impressive 20 marshmallows on October 21, 2020.
Known for her many Guinness titles, Shutkever’s precision and speed helped her secure this quirky but challenging record, proving once again why she is one of the most accomplished competitive eaters in the world.
10. Largest Bowl Of Pasta
The Italian American St. Joseph Society made headlines when they served what they called the world’s largest bowl of pasta con le sarde, weighing in at around 500 pounds.
The enormous dish was created in New Orleans as part of their annual celebration and drew huge crowds eager to take part in the feast.
Although the event was impressive and packed with cultural pride, it is not recognised by Guinness World Records, which lists a far heavier 7,900-kilogram pasta bowl created in Poland as the official record.
