The festive menu is back, and with it comes that cosy feeling of stepping inside for something warm while the world outside gets colder. This year’s lineup blends a few new surprises with the favourites people look forward to all season, the kind that make a simple coffee run feel a little bit special.

Whether you’re the type who sticks to your usual or someone who loves trying the newest thing on the board, there’s a familiar sense of anticipation in seeing what’s returned and what’s new. Seasonal items and ingredients can vary by location, and some drinks may contain higher levels of sugar or dairy than everyday options.

If you have allergies or dietary needs, it’s always best to check ingredients or ask in-store before ordering. This guide is simply a look at what’s new and what’s returning for the festive season.

What This Year's Festive Menu Brings To The Table

The festive lineup arrives with that familiar warm-and-cheerful feeling, complete with seasonal cups and cosy flavours that signal Christmas is on its way. This year’s offerings blend returning favourites like Toffee Nut and Gingerbread with a couple of newer additions, including chocolate-forward drinks and playful bakery items.

The overall feel is nostalgic, comforting and a little bit indulgent in the best way. It’s the kind of menu that makes popping in for a coffee feel like a small seasonal treat.

A new arrival this year is the Chocolatey Mousse Latte, available hot or iced and topped with a smooth chocolate mousse-style cream. It leans rich and cosy, the kind of drink that feels made for wrapping your hands around while watching the world go by.

You’ll also find a seasonal matcha option that brings a winter twist to the usual green tea flavour, offering something a little different for matcha fans. Alongside the newcomers, familiar favourites return, including Eggnog Latte, Toffee Nut Latte and Gingerbread Latte. And for anyone who prefers their drinks cold even in winter, several of these can be ordered iced, keeping the menu flexible no matter the weather.

The bakery counter has some fun new additions this season, bringing a cheerful and cosy feel to the menu. The Polar Bear Cake Pop adds a playful touch, the kind that instantly feels festive when you see it in the display. There’s also a Black Forest Slice and a Chocolate Babka, both leaning into that rich, winter-evening sweetness that suits the season. And the Festive Triple Chocolate Brownie is back in the mix too, offering that dense, chocolatey bite people look forward to.

These treats slot in nicely beside the returning favourites, giving plenty to choose from without overwhelming the menu.

One of the easiest ways to tell the festive season has arrived at Starbucks is when the red cups reappear. The designs change each year, but the feeling stays the same: cosy, cheerful, and a little bit nostalgic. Seeing those bright seasonal colours on the counter has become part of the anticipation, almost like a signal that it’s time to slow down a bit and enjoy something warm.

Whether you take yours with foam art, a syrup swirl, or simply your usual order, there’s something about holding one of those cups that makes the moment feel a little more festive.

Release Date And Availability Across The UK

The festive menu rolled out on 6 November, giving plenty of time for people to settle into their seasonal favourites as the holidays approach. The lineup is available in Starbucks stores across the UK for a limited time.

Availability can vary slightly by location, especially with the bakery items, so checking the app or the in-store display is always a good idea. Generally though, once the menu launches, the key festive items are stocked widely and easy to find.

This year’s festive menu keeps the familiar seasonal feel but leans more into rich, bakery-style treats, with items like the Black Forest Slice, Chocolate Babka and the Festive Triple Chocolate Brownie giving the range a cosy, dessert-shop energy. The drinks stay close to the classic flavours people look forward to every winter, with gingerbread and toffee notes bringing that nostalgic, December warmth.

Iced versions are still available too, reflecting the growing trend of enjoying iced drinks all year round. It’s a menu that keeps tradition at the centre while adding just enough newness to make it feel fun and worth trying again.
