The smell of fresh noodles and sizzling wok dishes has officially arrived in Sheffield as one of Britain’s biggest quick-service restaurant chains, Chopstix, opened its brand-new Meadowhall branch on 17 October.
The much-anticipated launch marked yet another milestone for the fast-growing Asian-inspired eatery, which now boasts more than 115 locations across the UK.

A Busy Start For Meadowhall’s Newest Eatery
The opening drew in a hungry crowd, thanks to a generous launch event that saw Chopstix hand out 1,000 free vegetable spring rolls and complimentary meal boxes for the first 100 visitors.
The new Meadowhall location also created ten new jobs in South Yorkshire and became the twelfth Chopstix opening in 2025, following launches in Leeds, Huddersfield, Hull, and Bridgend.
Designed in the chain’s sleek new Chopstix 3.0 style, the Meadowhall restaurant combines bold, modern décor with a streamlined service model that caters perfectly to shoppers in need of a quick and flavourful bite.
