Shoppers feeling the pinch will be pleased to hear Aldi has rolled out a wave of price cuts across hundreds of products. From fresh fruit and vegetables to frozen meals, pantry staples, and even household essentials, the budget supermarket is helping families stretch their weekly shop further.
With reductions on everyday favourites – including red lentils, porridge sachets, steel-cut oats, and large free-range eggs – Aldi is proving that affordable shopping doesn’t have to mean compromising on quality. Whether you’re stocking up on meat, cheese, or veggie-friendly staples, these savings are part of a £22 million investment to make groceries more wallet-friendly across the UK.

Aldi’s price reductions cover everyday essentials that fit seamlessly into weekly meal plans. Red lentils are down to 99p, porridge sachets now cost 79p, and Specially Selected British cheese is £2.29.
Meat lovers can grab no-beef flank steak for £6.99 or pork and gammon joints for £3.49, while sweetcorn drops to 55p and six large free-range eggs now cost £1.75. These cuts reflect Aldi’s ongoing strategy of reviewing prices constantly – Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer, confirmed the supermarket is committed to delivering the lowest possible prices without skimping on quality.
On top of this, Aldi plans to open 40 new UK stores, continuing its expansion and investment of £370 million this year.
