Vegan Banana Brownies
Vegan banana brownies are crusty on the top and gooey in the middle, just like the perfect brownie should be. Who needs eggs? This recipe is brownie heaven without all the dairy!
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon sat
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup ripe bananas mashed
- ½ tablespoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup vegan chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350 F (175 C). Grease an 8x8 inch pan.
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
In a medium bowl, beat together the vegetable oil, sugar, brown sugar, bananas and vanilla.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until everything is combined. Be careful not to over mix.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
