Sweet potato cubes on a white plate with a spoon.

Air Fryer Sweet Potato Cubes

Keri Bevan
Air fryer sweet potato cubes with crispy, caramelized edges and a tender center? Yes, please! My favorite 5-spice blend takes these sweet potato cubes over the top. Eat them on their own, or as a side dish to a larger meal.

  • 2 sweet potatoes peeled and cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper ground

  • If your air fryer requires pre heating, preheat it to 365° F (185° C). Lightly grease the insert.
  • Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into cubes.
  • In a large mixing bowl combine the oil and spices.
  • Add the sweet potato cubes to the bowl and toss until their evenly coated in the oil and spice mixture.
  • Spread the sweet potatoes in an even layer in the air fryer. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to work in two batches. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the air fryer to turn the pieces over at the halfway point.

  1. Air fryer sweet potato cubes are best served fresh, but if you happen to have leftovers, you can store them in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
