If you're anything like me, you can't resist the flavor of dill pickles. They just have a way of making everything better, don't they? Well, get ready to have your mind blown because today, we're talking about Dill Pickle Hummus!

Now, if you've been following along with me, you might have already tried my insanely popular Homemade Dill Pickle Popcorn. If you haven't, you've got to check it out ! But today, we're taking that love for all things dill pickle to the next level with this creamy hummus.

The best part? You can whip up this Dill Pickle Hummus in just 10 minutes flat! This recipe is so easy, even your kids can help out (and they'll love the fun, bold flavors, too!).

    Ingredients in a good processor.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐ŸณHow To Make Dill Pickle Hummus

    1. Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas under cold water.
    2. In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, tahini, olive oil, fresh dill, minced garlic, and lemon juice.
    3. Blend the mixture until smooth. If the hummus is too thick, you can add more pickle juice or a bit of water, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach the desired consistency.
    4. Taste the hummus and season with salt and pepper.
    5. Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl. Garnish with additional chopped dill, a drizzle of olive oil and a few pickle slices.

    Top Tip

I recommend using high-quality, fresh dill pickles and pickle juice. The flavor of the pickles really influences the overall taste of the hummus in this recipe, so using fresh, flavorful pickles will make a big difference.

    • If you're looking for a fantastic homemade flatbread recipe, you can't go wrong with this Za'atar Bread.
    • This hummus is always great with crackers, carrot sticks or slices of cucumber.
    • Take your sandwiches to the next level by using Dill Pickle Hummus as a flavorful spread. It works wonders on veggie wraps.

    โ„๏ธStorage Instructions

    Refrigerator

Put the hummus in an airtight container and store it in the fridge. To prevent it from drying out, drizzle a thin layer of olive oil over the top before sealing the container. For the best flavor, consume the hummus within one week.

    Freezer

Put the hummus in an airtight, freezer-safe container. Or, portion the hummus into smaller containers or use a silicone ice cube tray for individual servings. It should stay fresh in the freezer for up to 4 months. Any longer, and the texture may change.

To thaw dill pickle hummus, transfer the container from the freezer to the refrigerator. Allow it to thaw overnight or for several hours until fully thawed.transfer the container from the freezer to the refrigerator. Allow it to thaw overnight or for several hours until fully thawed.
